Appli provides a feature-rich and easy to use service allowing you to keep complete control of your virtual hosting infrastructure. We provide all the tools & services you need to host your application in a redundant, secure & semi-managed environment. You run the application servers and we'll take care of your database hosting & networking (including firewalls & load balancing).
Virtual Servers
You can provision an unlimited number of virtual servers which are used to host your application or website. These servers can run whatever software you need to run your app; we also provide a number of provisioning tools to help you install the components you need. Your virtual servers sit nicely within your own private, firewalled network and can be upgraded or downgraded depending your requirements.
Database Hosting
If your application needs a database then set one up on our managed database cluster. Our database servers are optimised to provide the best performance and the service is managed entirely by us, so you don't need to worry about backups or setting up dedicated servers to run your database infrastructure.
Load Balancing
As your site grows, you may want to distribute your traffic to multiple virtual servers. Our load balancing service allows you to easily route traffic from one public IP and port to multiple virtual servers. In addition to providing easy horizontal scaling, this also provides you with an extra level of redundancy, because should one of your virtual servers run into difficulties, any others will be able to continue serving requests until any issues are resolved.
Managed Network Firewall
Ensuring that unauthorised users can't access your virtual infrastructure has never been simpler. Your managed firewall service provides you with an easy to use interface to add and remove firewall rules to permit or deny traffic based on source or destination address, as well as protocol and destination port. By using our firewall service there is no need to configure your own firewall on your virtual servers, and therefore waste valuable processing power which could be better used powering your application.
